Granville and the southern Manche coast have a coastal light I find nowhere else in Normandy — intense, high-contrast, ever-changing. It is a territory I know well and love to photograph.

The Château de la Crête is one of the places I have worked most — a residence whose grounds and views over the Normandy bocage offer exceptional photographic conditions in every season. I have also photographed weddings at the Château de la Lucerne d’Outremer, a medieval abbey of rare beauty, and at the Château les Hauts.
The Granville coast, the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel beyond, the western skies — this is a natural setting I never need to improve upon. My role is simply to be in the right place when the light arrives.
