Cherbourg-en-Cotentin and the peninsula hold settings unique in Normandy — the Old Port and the roadstead, the wild beaches of the Manche, and above all the Cap de La Hague, one of the most powerful landscapes of the northern Cotentin. Atlantic light, cliffs, heathland: all natural elements I never need to stage.
A wedding in the Cotentin means a clear, frank light, shifting skies and a wind that gives the images movement. It is these elements that make the strongest photographs. I do not command them; I wait for them.
