My name is Arnaud Chapelle. I have been photographing weddings, families and businesses for nearly twenty years — from my native Normandy and wherever couples take me.
Trained at the University of Rennes 2 (Master's in Visual Arts), I turned photography into my profession in 2008. Since then, more than 200 weddings and hundreds of sessions have taught me one simple thing: the most beautiful images can't be ordered — they're caught.
My approach
I work in a documentary style: few poses, a lot of attention. I stay discreet so the real moments can breathe — a glance, a burst of laughter, a tear — rather than staging them. Natural light, almost always. Emotion, always.
My goal isn't to make a few more pretty pictures, but to give you back your day exactly as you lived it, so that twenty years from now it still moves you. Every story is different, so every reportage is too.
And whatever your love, all couples and all families are welcome, without exception — an LGBTQ+ friendly photographer.
