Coutances and its surroundings — between bocage, coast and Normandy countryside — host weddings each year in exceptional venues. I have worked here regularly for more than ten years.

The Domaine de la Guérie is where I have photographed the most weddings in the whole of the Manche — a grand hall, superb outdoor spaces, and a late-afternoon light that has given me some of my finest images. The Village du Phare, for its part, offers a more intimate feel, with on-site accommodation that creates a rare continuity between the celebration and the rest.
The Coutances area combines everything I love — the western light, the Normandy stone, the green of the bocage. Every wedding here has its own geographic identity.
