Some places bring a sense of calm the moment you walk through the gates. Château Les Hauts is one of them — and Sophie and Loïc's wedding found its own rhythm there, quite naturally.
A château wedding in Normandy is a day that rises to the occasion without ever taking itself too seriously. The stone, the tall trees, the long views — everything invites you to slow down. And that is exactly what Sophie and Loïc did: they took their time.
My work that day was the same as always — to be present without weighing on anyone. To catch the glances between two bursts of laughter, a father's hand, the silence just before the vows. Nothing posed: the real day, just as it happened.
Wedding photographer at the château
Estates like Château Les Hauts offer a rare kind of light: large rooms, open grounds, warm late-afternoon light at the end of the day. I work in natural light as much as possible, for images that breathe the place rather than decorate it.
From the ceremony to the end of the night, I cover the whole day — getting ready, emotions, party. You keep a series of images that tells the story of your wedding, in the order it happened.
Thank you to Sophie and Loïc for their trust, and for this day at the château.
