Two places that sum up the west coast of the Cotentin: the colourful beach huts of Gouville-sur-Mer and the Pointe d'Agon. For the length of a session, a couple made them their own — white dress and white suit, feet in the sand.
A seaside couple session in the Manche is anything but stiff. No set poses here: we walk between the dunes, put on roller skates, climb into the van — and the clear, direct light of the coast does the rest.
The beach huts of Gouville-sur-Mer, lined up facing the sea with their colourful roofs, are one of the most recognisable settings in the Cotentin. A few kilometres away, the Pointe d'Agon and its lighthouse close off the Sienne bay — a quiet end of the world.
The seaside as a backdrop
I love sessions that get out of the studio: the sea, the wind, the dune grasses. You forget the camera, you enjoy yourselves, and the images come on their own — simple and true.
I photograph couple and portrait sessions all over Normandy — beach, dunes, hedged countryside, forest or at home. Always in natural light, for images that look like you.

And to end the day, a van facing the bay at the Pointe d'Agon — the kind of place where time stands still.
