Domaine du Grand Caugy is a wedding venue at Saint-Vigor-le-Grand, minutes from Bayeux and the D-Day beaches in Normandy. An 18th-century Bessin farmstead set within a working stud: dressed stone, a courtyard, and a 200 m² hall restored in period style. I have photographed a wedding here, and I work in English throughout.
Domaine du Grand Caugy is at Saint-Vigor-le-Grand, in the Calvados, a few minutes from Bayeux and its D-Day beaches. It is an 18th-century farmstead typical of the Bessin, set within a working stud — dressed stone, a courtyard and wide open space.
The large 200 m² reception hall has been restored in 18th-century style — lime render, exposed beams, stone — and a covered structure completes it for large seatings. The estate also offers plenty of accommodation on site.
I do not direct and I do not stage. I tell the story of your day as it is actually lived — the toast during drinks, the speeches at dinner, the cake and its sparkler, the walk up the hill at the blue hour. I look for honest light and real moments.
I am based in Saint-Lô and I speak English throughout — from the first email to the delivery of your gallery. For international couples, travel and accommodation anywhere in France are included in the package price: no mileage added afterwards.
