Wedding venue · Normandy, France
Château de la Roque is a wedding venue at Théreval, ten minutes from Saint-Lô in Normandy — a 16th- and 17th-century schist manor in a park above the valley, with L'Orangerie, a vast glasshouse for dinners and dancing. It is one of the venues I know best in the Manche: I have photographed several weddings here, and I work in English throughout.
Château de la Roque is a 16th- and 17th-century manor built in schist stone, standing in a park above the valley at Théreval, ten minutes from Saint-Lô. Its gravel courtyard, slate roofs and ivy make a setting that comes into its own late in the day, when the light rakes across the stone.
The estate holds dinners and dancing in L'Orangerie, a vast glasshouse full of natural light, and has a barn for smaller receptions. Bedrooms on site let the couple and those closest to them stay until the next day.
I do not direct and I do not stage. I tell the story of your day as it is actually lived — the rings, the petals on the way out, the emotion during drinks, the party under the glass roof. I look for honest light and real moments.
I am based in Saint-Lô, ten minutes away, and I speak English throughout — from the first email to the delivery of your gallery. For international couples, travel and accommodation anywhere in France are included in the package price: no mileage added afterwards.
A few frames from days genuinely photographed here — from the church to the glasshouse.
