Château de la Crête is a wedding venue at Granville, Normandy, set on the clifftop directly above the sea. A long pale façade, a stone terrace and balustrade over the beach, wind-bent maritime pines. Few Normandy venues can offer the open Channel as a backdrop. I have photographed a wedding here — and I work in English throughout.
Château de la Crête stands at Granville, in the Manche, high on the coast. That is what sets it apart from most Normandy wedding venues: there is no hedgerow country on the horizon here, there is the sea. A long pale façade, a stone terrace and balustrade looking down over the beach, wind-bent maritime pines, and a park sloping gently towards the open water.
Inside, a reception room with tall windows, parquet and a fireplace, where round tables sit naturally. Outside, the lawn takes an open-air ceremony facing the water without difficulty. And after dark, the lit façade above the cliff does the rest.
I do not direct and I do not stage. I tell the story of your day as it is actually lived — the vows with the Channel behind you, the wind, the laughter, the light going gold over the water. I look for honest light and real moments.
I am based in Saint-Lô, about an hour away, and I speak English throughout — from the first email to the delivery of your gallery. For international couples, travel and accommodation anywhere in France are included in the package price: no mileage added afterwards.
