The Devriendt family trusted me with a studio portrait session in the Manche. A family studio session is not a session "with constraints". On the contrary, it is a setting that sets you free — no weather to worry about, no location to choose, just the family facing itself, in carefully controlled light.
A family studio portrait is also a format that ages far better. In thirty years' time, these images will not be dated by a backdrop or a passing trend. What will remain is the age of the children, the look in the parents' eyes, the way they hold one another. The essentials.

Based in Saint-Lô, in the Manche, I work exclusively from a mobile in-home studio: I arrive at your home with all the equipment — backdrop, lighting, tripods — and set up a compact studio in one of your rooms. No outing to organise, no children to dress up and bundle out the door. This approach is especially well suited to families throughout the Manche, the Calvados (Caen, Bayeux) and all of Normandy. The only requirement: a little space to set up the backdrop and the lights (the living room or a bedroom is more than enough).
A family studio session lasts around an hour. We begin with the group shots, then move on to freer images: the children together, the parents on their own, the details (hands, glances, smiles). By the end, you leave with a series of images that tells the story of who you are, today.
