The beach at Gouville-sur-Mer and its colourful huts are one of my favourite settings for family sessions — a distinctive light, a natural graphic quality, an atmosphere unique in Normandy. The Saint-Germain-sur-Ay haven offers an ideal unspoilt shore. The Coutances bocage, for its part, gives a soft, green light perfect for family portraits. And the centre of Coutances, with its cathedral, creates strong graphic perspectives.
